The journal Regional Studies is part of the publication of open access (Open Access Journals) so that access to its contents does not involve any charge to their readers or their institutions. “Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of their content,” as defined by the Open Access Initiative in Budapest(BOAI)

However, the user agrees to use the contents of web pages to be according to law, with legal notice and other notices, use regulations and intructions have been brought to its attention, as well as public order, morals and good customs generally accepted.

Specifically, you agree to not remove, manipulate or otherwise alter any copyright and other identifying information of the reserved rights of the Spanish Association for Regional Science of the owners of the fingerprints or any other technical means established for recognition.

You must not obtain or attempt to obtain content using means or procedures other than those, as the case may have been made available or have been indicated for this purpose on web pages where content resides or in general of which are used on the internet.

We aim at keeping the lapse between the reception and the publication of the articles to minimum standards, although every article might observe different lapses. An average paper with two rounds of revisions waits between 9 and 18 months to see the final version published.

“Investigaciones Regionales – Journal of Regional Research” does not require article processing charges (APCs).
