Job quality and job satisfaction in Spanish regions. A study with special reference to Comunidad de Madrid

The article analyses the job quality and the job satisfaction from a regional point of view, paying an especial attention to the especial case of the region of Madrid. Job satisfaction is a relevant matter, explaining some of the most important outcomes of labour market. The quality of job is the main aspect setting worker’s feeling about job. In this context, this paper pursuit several goals: First, we want to know the level of job quality form a regional point of view. Second, we are interested on relation between job quality and job satisfaction, explaining the observed different between Madrid and the rest of Spain. Results point out that Madrid has a high level of job quality but their workers show a less job satisfaction than other Spanish regions.
